This scenario is a desalted water pipeline scenario with a conductivity of about 5 us / cm. In the early stage, a vortex flow meter was used for flow measurement. Users reported that the measurement accuracy was low and could not meet actual needs.

HIKMICRO low conductivity type electromagnetic flow meter, DN40, PN25, 316L electrodes, PTFE lining, medium temperature: 0-80°C, 4-20mA + HART.

After the flow meter is put into use, users reported high measurement accuracy, small data fluctuations, and stable operation.

The billet moves slowly, the surface state of the measured target is stable, and the measured target volume is large, so the temperature measurement is stable. Furthermore, the phosphorus removal process involves large amounts of water mist. Therefore, two-color pyrometer is recommended for this scenario, which is not affected by water mist and can ensure long-term stability of temperature measurement.
